There are twelve zodiac signs both in the eastern and the western astrological systems. They are: Aries/Mesha, Taurus/Vrishabha, Gemini/Mithuna, Cancer/Karkataka, Leo/Simha, Virgo/Kanya, Libra/Tula, Scorpio/Vrischika, Sagittarius/Dhanus, Capricorn/Makara, Aquarius/Kumbha, and Pisces/Meena.
Each individual is born under a particular zodiac sign and the person’s character, personality, and the circumstances that occur in life are determined by the influence exerted by the stars and planets associated with each sign. Swamiji has revealed recently that each sign is represented not only by a specific color, but also a specific species of parrot bearing that color in its plumage.
The colors corresponding to each of the zodiac signs, in the given sequence are: Red (blood red), White, Green (leaf green), White (white blood), Grey, Multi-colored, Blue, Gold, Black, Black and white, and Crystal clear.
It is established that those born under each zodiac sign are associated with, and are predominantly influenced by a particular part of the human body, one of the five elements, a certain chakra in the yogic system, a specific gem stone, a species of tree, a food grain, and a musical scale with a definite combination of notes.
The body parts corresponding to the zodiac signs in the given sequence are: head, face/ neck, hands, chest/heart region, stomach, reproductive organ/crotch/buttocks, excretory organs, thighs, knees, calves/ankles, and feet.
The Chakras and their representative colors as they correspond to the zodiac signs are: Aries/Ajna/Indigo
Taurus and Gemini/Vishuddha/Blue
Virgo and Libra/Svadhishthana/Saffron
Scorpio/ Sagittarius/ Capricorn/Aquarius/ Pisces/Mooladhara/Red.
The Shuka Vana is a unique aviary that houses all the twelve parrot species that specifically represent each of the zodiac signs. It is of great benefit to individuals to view these rare birds that correspond to each of their own individual birth signs. These parrots exert a strong influence on their lives. Supporting their care that includes feeding, housing, training, and health maintenance will highly enhance the quality of both the individual’s worldly and spiritual lives.
